Emergency Preparedness Presentations & Community Outreach

Shelburne County Regional Emergency Management Organization (REMO) is committed to helping residents become better prepared for emergencies. We offer emergency preparedness presentations to community groups, organizations, businesses, and other interested audiences throughout Shelburne County. These presentations provide practical information on understanding local hazards, developing household emergency plans, preparing for severe weather, and knowing what to do before, during, and after an emergency. Presentations can be tailored to suit the needs and interests of different groups.

Shelburne County REMO also participates in outdoor community events, fairs, and public gatherings through our emergency preparedness outreach tent. Our tent provides an opportunity for residents to speak directly with REMO representatives, ask questions, collect educational materials, and learn simple steps to improve their household's emergency readiness.
